It is about a year since the World met the COVID 19 virus. It is a hard time for everyone, for all the big and small businesses, for all the children trying to do classes online….it is all about people and money, but how many of us were thinking about the animals in the zoo? Do you know Dublin Zoo is still spending €500,000 a month feeding and caring for animals?
At the start of second lockdown, my daughter asked me, how are the animals living in the zoo with no visitors, who is thinking about their mental health? They are sad all the time. I was shocked hearing this, but then I saw on the news, how hard it is for the animals, how hard it is for the Zoo to take care of the animals during this pandemic, this make me sad!
